Alec Schemmel is studying journalism and political science at American University. In addition to writing for The College Fix, his work has been published by the Daily Caller. When not writing or at school, he spends his time snowboarding, reading books, and teaching social skills to kids with autism.

College Fix contributor Alexandra Horwitz is a junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, majoring in history and political science.

Alexandra Zimmern graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014 with a B.A. in political science and international studies. While in school, she served as president of UW’s pro-Israel student organization and took a strong interest in free speech advocacy. She is currently living in Israel where she studies, writes, and travels the country.

Caroline Stella is a sophomore at Xavier University majoring in Philosophy, Politics and the Public. A member of College Republicans, Caroline is also a contributor to the Human Defense Initiative and Future Female Leaders.

Christian focuses on investigative, enterprise and analysis reporting. He is the author of “1916: The Blog” and has spent time as a political columnist at USA Today, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and National Review Online. His op-eds have been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Post, City Journal, Weekly Standard and National Review. He has also been a frequent guest on political television and radio shows. He holds a master’s degree in political science from Marquette University and lives in Madison, Wisconsin.

College Fix contributor CJ Womack is majoring in political science and journalism at Long Beach State University. He has served as an engagement editor and reporter at The Hornet, and as a producer and editor for “Around The Hornet” and “The Stinger” podcasts. He has won awards from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges. He has also served as communications director and senior youth advisors for various Southern California legislative campaigns and candidates.

College Fix contributor Courtney Graves is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, double majoring in political science and economics. At her university, Courtney serves as the vice chair of Young Americans for Freedom and the communications chair of College Republicans. She is also a legislative intern at the Wisconsin State Capitol.

He is currently pursuing his doctorate in biology at Northern Illinois University where he is studying the impact of social isolation on host-microbe interactions and learning new coding techniques to integrate into his research.

Dave has been writing about education, politics, and entertainment for over 20 years, including a stint at the popular media bias site Newsbusters. He holds degrees from the University of Delaware and taught in the First State’s public schools for over 25 years.

College Fix contributor David Glasser is a rising second-year student at the Florida State University College of Law, with over six years of news and opinion writing experience for various publications. He is set to graduate in 2026.

Gabrielle Temaat is an assistant editor at The College Fix. She holds a B.S. in economics from Barrett, the Honors College, at Arizona State University. She has years of editorial experience at the Daily Caller and various family policy councils. She also works as a tutor in all subjects and is deeply passionate about mentoring students.

Jeremy founded three of the Real Clear Politics family of websites and has covered subjects ranging from religious trends to space travel to an armed standoff, for hundreds of publications. His books and comic books include The Warm Bucket Brigade: A History of the Vice Presidency, William F. Buckley, and Movie Men. Jeremy graduated from Trinity Western University, where he served as an editor for the Mars Hill newspaper.

Joshua Masterson is a cartoonist for The College Fix. He also is the creator of The Catholic Cartoon, which is a slice of life comic strip about Fr. Otto and his parish. In his free time, Joshua enjoys hanging out with his family and playing video games and … drawing!

He spoke at the 2022, 2023 South Carolina Life Conference and has made appearances on the Palmetto Family podcast and at the Palmetto Women’s Center yearly gala. Sandor Farkas is a member of the Dartmouth College class of 2017 and the Valley Forge Military Academy class of 2013. He studies history and serves as a cadet in the U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. In addition to writing for The College Fix, he is a senior editor at the Dartmouth Review. President of Dartmouth Students for Israel, he considers himself a Revolutionary Zionist. In what little free time he has, he reenacts the American War of Independence, builds military dioramas, and occasionally sleeps.

College Fix contributor Seth Rosevear is studying English, professional writing and communication with a minor in manufacturing at Brigham Young University Provo. When not studying or working, he loves researching Medieval European history, fencing, oil painting, drawing, playing the piano, and practicing various forms of martial arts.

College Fix reporter Shelby Ingram is a senior at Cal State University San Marcos. She is a U.S. history major and a lover of America. When not in school, she plays hurling, softball and rugby. She also participates in Civil Reenacting, sings in a local band, and does Irish dance. She is a chef at heart, and cooks on a daily basis for fun.

Troy Sargent is a first-year student at Dallas Baptist University majoring in finance. In addition to The College Fix, Troy contributes to Lone Conservative. After graduation he plans to attend graduate school to study economics.
