Alec Schemmel

Alec Schemmel is studying journalism and political science at American University. In addition to writing for The College Fix, his work has been published by the Daily Caller. When not writing or at school, he spends his time snowboarding, reading books, and teaching social skills to kids with autism.

Alexandra Zimmern graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014 with a B.A. in political science and international studies. While in school, she served as president of UW’s pro-Israel student organization and took a strong interest in free speech advocacy. She is currently living in Israel where she studies, writes, and travels the country.

Christian Schneider

Christian focuses on investigative, enterprise and analysis reporting. He is the author of “1916: The Blog” and has spent time as a political columnist at USA Today, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and National Review Online. His op-eds have been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Post, City Journal, Weekly Standard and National Review. He has also been a frequent guest on political television and radio shows. He holds a master’s degree in political science from Marquette University and lives in Madison, Wisconsin.

CJ Womack

College Fix contributor CJ Womack is majoring in political science and journalism at Long Beach State University. He has served as an engagement editor and reporter at The Hornet, and as a producer and editor for “Around The Hornet” and “The Stinger” podcasts. He has won awards from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges. Matthew Reade is the editor-in-chief emeritus of the Claremont Independent, an award-winning journal of campus news and political thought that has become one of the most influential and widely read campus publications in America. His writing for the Independent has appeared in several national publications, including the Washington Post, and his news coverage has been featured at many more media outlets—ranging from Fox News to National Review Online. Upon graduating from Pomona College in 2018, where he currently studies politics, philosophy, and economics, Matthew plans to attend law school.
McKenli Myers

Sandor Farkas is a member of the Dartmouth College class of 2017 and the Valley Forge Military Academy class of 2013. He studies history and serves as a cadet in the U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. In addition to writing for The College Fix, he is a senior editor at the Dartmouth Review. President of Dartmouth Students for Israel, he considers himself a Revolutionary Zionist. In what little free time he has, he reenacts the American War of Independence, builds military dioramas, and occasionally sleeps.
