The College Fix has covered numerous examples of academics who claimed they were one race but were really another. But in a related vein, Tennessee Democrat Justin Pearson switched how he presented himself when he was running for student government as a moderate candidate to now. Pearson was recently expelled from the Tennessee House of Representatives for disruptions but has since returned. He recently gave a speech where his voice sounded a lot different than it did just 7 years ago.
