The College Fix offers college students and recent graduates an opportunity to gain paid journalism experience under the guidance of experienced editors. Our editors have decades of journalism experience, and their goal is to help students improve their writing and reporting skills, flesh out their budding resumes, and consider a career in the media.
The College Fix offers paid journalism internships every spring, summer and fall at leading news outlets in Washington D.C. – including USA Today, National Review, The Hill, Examiner, Real Clear Politics, Weekly Standard, and many more.
There is no minimum or maximum amount students must agree to write for us to join the team. It could be one article a month, or many more. And did we mention it’s paid?!
The College Fix and its internships are powered by the Student Free Press Association. SFPA is run by veteran journalists for the benefit of beginning journalists. We identify and support college students who seek to improve campus journalism, explore careers in the media, and commit themselves to the principles of a free society.
